Hello Again My Fellow Blog Master,

We all know the importance of having a blog and getting people to read it, but there is also a huge importance in having a social media presence. Through the use of Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and even networks like Pinterest and Klout, you can get more people to visit your blog. Facebook currently has over 900 million users and there are another 500 million users on Twitter. Even just the smallest fraction of these users knowing about your site and content is a massive amount.

In the world of social networking, it's all about who you are linked up with and getting your name and brand out there. Building your social network exposure and presence from day one is a must.

In my first email I told you about my personal social networking pages, which I've listed again below. I personally like to use Facebook the most, and I have my blog updates being sent to my Twitter accounts automatically. Facebook is where I will make most of my personal status updates and contact other people.

In addition to having your own personal account on Facebook, you will also want to create a fan page for your blog. You can quickly build up a nice following of loyal fans and readers to your blog through Facebook, and everyone who "likes" your content, will get the latest blog posts in their feed.

You can see the ZacJohnson.com and BloggingTips.com Facebook fan pages below. You will notice all of the latest posts are sent directly to these Fan Pages for all Facebook followers to see.

PS: While I prefer to use Facebook for connecting with my friends and followers online, many people like to use Twitter. Twitter is a great way to expand your blogs reach and readership, especially since you can setup your blgo RSS feed to report right to Twitter, then all of your followers can instantly see your updates.

Without the necessary tools or following, it can take quite a while to grow your following on Twitter. Many bloggers and marketers will create multiple Twitter accounts or grow their blog Twitter accounts to thousands and thousands of followers using software like Tweet Adder.
