reports that over half of those who've purchased from their
smartphone say they did so in response to a mobile email
they received.

Mobile email opens over the last year have grown 82.4%
according to Return Path.

on a mobile device have increased about 10% . It was at
15% and now it's at about 25%.

Return Path predicts by the end of 2012 mobile email
readership will surpass a combine web and desktop email
readership.

Yes, mobile email readership is increasing fast! The
important point for email marketers to note is that 63% of
Americans and 41% of Europeans will close and delete
email not optimized for mobile readership!

These individuals will not go back to your email later on
their desktop. If your email doesn't look good when they
check it on their mobile device it's trashed! 88% of
mobile users check their email daily on their mobile
device.

Now is the time to optimize your email for mobile devices!
If nothing else focus on optimizing for readership on an
Apple's iphone and ipad. Return Path shows that 85% of
mobile email readership occurs with Apple devices.
