BREAKING NEWS: American Express 2Q Net, Revenue Top Views

American Express reported second-quarter earnings and revenue after the bell Wednesday that topped Wall Street's expectations. AmEx earned $1.07 an adjusted share in the quarter, compared with Wall Street's view of 99 cents, while revenue came in at $7.62 billion, versus the $7.35 billion that was expected.
