BREAKING NEWS: Amazon 2Q Results Handily Top Views

Amazon.com on Tuesday reported second-quarter net income of 41 cents a share, topping Wall Street's view of 35 cents. Sales came in at $9.9 billion, well ahead of the $9.4 billion expected by analysts. The shares were edging higher in after-hours trading.
