Hello All,
We are often asked by readers to mention OTC stocks that look like
they may be good long term holds for those of you that are not
geared towards the short term trading.
Since we almost always profile short term trading opportunities we
rarely mention them.
We finally have one that everyone needs to put on their watch list
right away.
I have PERSONALLY met with the management of this company.
I went to their annual shareholders meeting YESTERDAY.
This company is in the renewable energy storage sector.
Energy storage is the "holy grail" of cleantech. Solar and wind
become more than niche technologies if the storage problem can be
solved.
-Steven Milunovich, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch
We can not meet our renewable energy goals without batteries of
some sort.
-Peter Rosegg, Hawaiian Electric
Renewable energy storage batteries could represent a $50 billion
market if only 10% of wind power plants installed them.
-Lux Research
A rising tide is now looking like an investment tsunami as a
handful of micro-cap and small cap companies gear up to compete for
$50 billion to $70 billion of rapidly developing annual demand for
large format energy storage systems.
-John Petersen, Altenergystocks.com
This company is Arista Power Inc. The stock will begin trading
TOMORROW under the new symbol ASPW. The stock closed Thursday at 17
cents.
It may not be possible to put in orders in under the new symbol
till after 9:30am Friday morning.
Please begin your research here www.aristapower.com. Because of the
name change it does not yet have a yahoo finance page. It will
after 9:30am tomorrow. The old page is

Please read this article on FORBES.com about energy storage that
mentions ASPW (old name WindTamer)

for 28 years and is now at Forbes.com. He has also written two
books on investing and Wall Street.
I can not stress enough that everyone needs to take a close look at
ASPW.
ASPW is ALREADY producing and selling energy storage systems.
ASPW has made presentations and sold systems to the US military and
law enforcement agencies.
Take a look at the ASPW management:
William Schmitz-CEO- was a mechanical engineer and COO for Ultralife
prior to coming to ASPW.
Mark Matthews-VP of sales and marketing- was a battery designer and
chemical engineer that ran a 15 person in house sales team and a
worldwide distributor network of 50 while at Ultralife.
Adeeb Saba-VP of operations- was Ultralife's director of technology
and led the team that developed and started production of the Land
Warrior Power System for the US Army.
While these guys were at Ultralife revenue SOARED from $32 million
to $254 million dollars !!!
OK, so let me ask you a question. Why would 3 top executives leave
a company that they just helped build to $250 million in sales
leave secure jobs making big money and go join a start-up where
there future was unclear?
My guess is because they believe the start up had even bigger
potential than the company they were at, Right?
Well ASPW is out of the start up phase and are now selling systems!!
I heard William Schmitz the CEO say yesterday that he felt very
comfortable that they would hit $15 million in booked orders by the
end of 2011.
That must mean that they have a lot of orders that are on the way.
What do orders mean? Press releases about contracts, right?
What could press releases about contracts mean? More interest in the
stock, right?
What could more interest in the stock mean? More buyers than
sellers, right?
Well, all that could mean 17 cents may seem pretty cheap as
everyone looks back at these prices some day.
As always, do your own research and always use stop loss orders to
protect your capital.
We usually say book your profits when in a position to do so but
this one you may want to use a trailing stop and let it ride.
ASPW may be that long term hold so many of you are looking for.
